Barclays Wealth appoints new vice president to wealth advisory team

BARCLAYS Wealth has appointed Lucia Perchard as Vice President to its Wealth Advisory team in Jersey.

The experienced trust manager is responsible for key client relationships within the Wealth Advisory business in the island, in particular ensuring client service levels are exemplary and that technical structuring matters are considered wherever appropriate. She will also play an important role in new business development.

The expanding Barclays Wealth Advisory team deals with all types of offshore structures and Miss Perchard has a detailed knowledge of these.

‘With her considerable client relationship management and business development involvement, as well as her understanding of offshore structures and wealth planning, Lucia is a welcome member to the Wealth Advisory team here in Jersey, which continues to expand to meet the needs of its growing number of clients,' said Martin Pollock, Director, Wealth Advisory, Barclays Wealth, Jersey.

Miss Perchard will also be responsible for the development of team members to ensure that learning and technical excellence is continually achieved, and will assist the key client team with the growth of its high net worth client base.

With more than a decade of trust experience the new Vice President also holds the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP) qualification.
